Red Dead Redemption 2: Visit the official site for the latest info

Posted on November 30, 2017 at 11:29 pm

With Red Dead Redemption 2 set to be launched next year, we’ve gradually seen Rockstar add lots more information to their official website about the upcoming title.

They’re doing it right as always, slowly giving us teasers that build up our excitement and anticipation for this soon to be great game. We already know many gamers who have pre-ordered the title and that’s quite crazy in many ways because it is not out until later next year, possibly Autumn, so there’s some time to wait, but people are already prepared to put their name down for one of the first copies. One quick roam around the website and you’ll see lots of the footage from the last game, but that’s enough to get you excited, and it’s easy to forget how stunning the visuals were even years ago, so the new one is certainly going to be even bigger and better in our eyes.

Friday the 13th: The Game – It’s about time

Posted on October 7, 2017 at 8:59 am

How long have us 90s kids been waiting for a game based on Friday the 13th? Too long! It was an exciting announcement when we first heard this news but we’re nearing the release date now and it’s got more people talking about this iconic movie. So how will the game pan out?

Well, the good news is that you will get to live out the movies as you take on the role of Jason Voorhees. This basically means you need to be prepared to witness the rampaging madness of a cold-blooded killer as he stalks his way through Camp Crystal Lake. What’s more, the visuals are spectacular and this really is a faithful tribute to the franchise, all the way down to the small details. Friday the 13th fans have waited more than 30 years and we’re confident it will not disappoint, and that’s why so many people are getting their orders in early for this title, and you should too, because it could sell out!

Which Is The Best System For VR Gaming?

Posted on June 26, 2017 at 7:54 pm

VR games have slowly begun to gather momentum and are gradually becoming worth the hardware investment. Games like Star Trek Bridge commander and Minecraft VR have turned VR from being simply a gimmick, to a worthy way to exeperience games.

But which system is the best for VR gaming? At the moment PC is adopting VR very well, but it requires a PC that can handle it which can cost a fair amount more than simply choosing one the other option. The other option being PS4 VR, a system that has many decent VR games already and several that are on PC too. The PS4 VR is also easier to use than the PC options, but it slumps when it comes to graphics and controller options.

In the end the PS4 Pro is a good choice for VR, providing you don’t already own a standard PlayStation 4. But if you already own one of these, it’s worth waiting until the next generation of VR capable consoles or if you can’t wait and have the extra money, buy a powerful a gaming PC.

Tips on Optomising The PSVR

Posted on May 31, 2017 at 11:10 pm

Some users have reported issues when using the PSVR (Play Station Virtual Reality) But with a few tweaks these issues can be remedied. Here are some quick tips on optimising the PSVR to get the best possible experience.

  • When setting up the PSVR, make sure that the exact pupil measurements are set up accurately. This can be done on the PS4’s dash settings, simply go to Settings > Devices > PlayStation VR > Measure Eye-to-Eye Distance, and callibrate it from this menu
  • When calibrating the PSVR make sure to check if there an any windows or reflective objects that might be reflecting into the systems tracking lights, As these can sometimes cause issues with the camera’s tracking.
  • Placing the camera in a high position looking down allows for 360 Move tracking for games which may use it.
  • Make sure that the PS4 is fully updated as hotfixes and updates are constantly being added to the system.
